Black Men in Medicine uplifts Black males who are interested in medicine by providing knowledge and experiences in professional healthcare settings. Our purpose is to increase Black male participation in healthcare and address the deficit of Black male physicians and healthcare providers.

Membership is open to all enrolled University of Florida students. No dues or membership fees are required to remain an active member.

All enrolled UF students are eligible. The chapter’s constitution prohibits discrimination on the protected grounds listed in Article IV.
What does active membership mean?
Active members meet participation requirements established in the bylaws. Only active members may vote, hold office, or serve on committees. The supplied constitution does not specify the participation thresholds.
Where can I read the chapter’s policies?
The 2026–2027 constitution covers membership, officer roles, elections, finances, and amendments.
